Luther League Mission Plan

The Luther League Mission Plan was designed to promote mission activity within the SELC District Luther League. The fund is primarily supported by donations from local societies.

Every year at the District Convention, a mission project(s) is selected by resolution of the convention. In the past, funds have been used to support missionaries to foreign countries, youth outreach programs in mission congregations, and many other worthy causes.

The District Mission Plan Director sets goals, based on membership, which each active society is encouraged to meet. The three circuit Mission Plan Directors solicit donations and encourage circuit-wide fundraising events. In the past, societies have developed various creative ways to raise money, including bowl-a-thons, spaghetti suppers, salad luncheons, etc.
